How to clear cache in every browser

In most browsers the key combination Ctrl+Shift+Del work. Most of the time toy can also clear the cache from the Privacy or History area in the Settings or Options menu, depending on your browser, see below additional information for the browsers supported by Helga.
While the key combination works in most non-mobile browsers, the exact steps involved in clearing your browser’s cache depends on which of the Helga supported  web browser you are using. Below you will find browser and device specific instructions.

What is cache?

All browsers cache previously displayed information as a collection of web pages, including the text and the images, and most other media contained on them, meaning browsers store this information on your hard drive or phone storage for later reteival. There is no need to get data gain if it is not changed, and reading lcoal data makes the browser apear faster. Cached data in the browser is a great feature, but there is a need from time to time to clear or reset this cache.

Why clear the cache?

Clearing your cache forces your browser to get the newest and latest information available from Helga, something that in most cases is forces by versioning information inside Helga, but sometimes it does not run automatically. You might also want to clear the cache if you are receiving information such as 404 or 502 errors (or others), sometimes indications that your browser needs the latest information.
Another reason to refresch (clear) the browser cache data is to free up space on your hard drive. Over time, the cache can grow to a really large size, and so clearing it out can recover some of that used space.
